Project Manager

Full time - Remote

About The Role:

We're looking for a Project Manager to join our team with availability from 9am-5pm EST. You will act as the manager of all projects within a "squad” (what we call our teams), ensuring the success of retention marketing efforts for our clients while fostering a high-performance culture within your team.

Ideally, we’d like for you to have or build the ability and skills to graduate into a Success Manager. Our average squad consists of about 8 clients and a team of 5 (you, your success manager, a designer, a developer, and a copywriter). As a Project Manager, you'll need to lead, coach, work efficiently, and uphold FlowCandy standards while working collaboratively to meet client goals and achieve outstanding results.

What We're Looking For:

  • Overseeing and managing client tasks throughout the fulfillment process to drive client success. These tasks include creating and deploying email campaigns, email flows, pop-ups, SMS and other email marketing initiatives.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Serve as a mentor and coach to team members, empowering them to grow professionally while maintaining FlowCandy’s high standards and ensuring they’re on track and reach deployment .

  • Standards Oversight: Gain a deep understanding of FlowCandy's products, systems, and best practices to uphold quality and align deliverables with client expectations.

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with your Success Manager to define and communicate strategic goals for client projects, ensuring alignment with their retention marketing objectives.   

  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Anticipate potential roadblocks and red flags with clients or tasks, implementing solutions swiftly to maintain client satisfaction and prevent churn.

  • Participating in squad calls to deliver comprehensive updates and feedback on wins, challenges, and blockers, ensuring clear communication and alignment with the team.

  • Assisting the Success Manager in monitoring and maintaining key squad KPIs, in good standing (i.e. LTV, NPS, churn rate).

Must-haves Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years experience managing projects and creative teams.

  • Someone with experience on exceptional design standards, particularly in copywriting and quality control. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence are essential for this role.

  • Comfortable with Google Apps (Gmail, Drive, Calendar etc.)

  • Experience with Slack for effective team communication.

  • Experience with project management tool ClickUp is highly preferred.

  • Experience with other CRMs like Omnisend, MailChimp, Active Campaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot Marketing Hub and Attentive is a plus

  • Strong understanding of Klaviyo, Shopify, and Zeplin.

  • Strong Leadership Skills - Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage creative teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.

  • Commitment to Excellence - A passion for maintaining high standards in design, copywriting, and overall quality, with a strong attention to detail.

  • Adaptability & Innovation -Comfort with change and the ability to think outside the box, innovate, and refine systems for better efficiency and results.

  • Ambitious self-starter- We’ll provide you with the training you’ll need, but it’s important to be an autonomous problem solver too. Be curious and hungry to learn. Have grit.

  • Great communicator- As a remote team, we rely on clear communication to stay on track and do our best work.

  • Great at time management - You’ll need a well-balanced sense of urgency. We base our success on providing results fast for our clients, so we need you to be able to keep up with the pace.
