CRO Strategist

Full time - Remote

About The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced CRO Strategist to join our team with availability from 9am–5pm EST. You will be responsible for driving measurable conversion rate improvements across eCommerce stores through data-driven experimentation, UX optimization, and deep customer behavior analysis. You’ll work closely with our internal squads and clients to identify opportunities, design experiments, and scale what works.

Your mission is simple: turn traffic into revenue.

What We're Looking For:

  • Develop and execute full-funnel CRO strategies for eCommerce brands across product pages, collections, carts, and checkout.

  • Plan, launch, and manage A/B and multivariate tests. Build test roadmaps, prioritize experiments by impact, and ensure clean execution.

  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data from tools like GA4, heatmaps, recordings, surveys, and customer behavior platforms to uncover friction and growth opportunities.

  • Serve as a strategic CRO partner to clients. Lead weekly or bi-weekly meetings, present insights, explain test results clearly, and align on next steps.

  • Work closely with designers, developers, copywriters, and success managers to ensure tests are executed with precision and speed.

  • Identify usability issues and conversion blockers. Make data-backed recommendations on layout, messaging, offers, trust elements, and user flow.

  • Participating in squad calls to deliver comprehensive updates and feedback on wins, challenges, and blockers, ensuring clear communication and alignment with the team.

  • Own CRO KPIs including conversion rate, AOV, RPV, checkout completion, and funnel drop-off improvements.

Must-haves Skills and Experience:

  • 3+ years of hands-on CRO experience for eCommerce brands, preferably in an agency environment

  • Strong experience running A/B tests and building structured experimentation roadmaps

  • Deep understanding of UX, consumer psychology, and conversion principles

  • Proven experience using GA4, heatmaps, session recordings, and survey data

  • Experience with Shopify app Shoplift is highly preferred

  • Experience with project management tool ClickUp is highly preferred.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn raw data into clear actions

  • Experience optimizing Shopify stores is required

  • High attention to detail and QA discipline across live tests

  • Strong communication skills for client-facing strategy calls

  • Comfortable working with designers and developers in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with project management tools like ClickUp is preferred

  • Experience with tools like VWO, Convert, Google Optimize (legacy), Hotjar, PostHog, or similar is a plus

  • High emotional intelligence and strong stakeholder management

  • Time management and prioritization skills in a remote environment
